Library Resources: Use and Regulations

Opening hours
The Library is open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm

Borrowing
Every member of the school can use the Library’s resources and services;
Every member of the school has the right to borrow material provided they have a Library Card;

All library material can be borrowed, except for reference materials and journals;
All users may renew each loaned item provided it has not been reserved by another user;
Students may borrow books for up to two weeks and renew them for two weeks;
All books  borrowed must be checked out;
Books returned damaged or late will mean the student will be fined or will have to replace the book.

General rules
Food and drink are not allowed in the library;
Users are requested to keep quiet in order to avoid disturbance to other users. Mobile phones should be switched to silent mode before entering the Library;
Users are not allowed to use computers for games, to download data,  or delete program files;
Users are requested not to re-shelve books themselves.
The Library will not be held responsible for the loss of any personal belongings. It is intended as a quiet study area, so if you need to discuss something with your classmates you will need to find somewhere else to work.
